Platform & Workflow Recommendation
Option / Tool | Description | Pros | Cons | Recommended |
---|---|---|---|---|
Figma → Framer | Design the full website in Figma, then replicate and develop it in Framer. | - Familiar design environment | - Slower due to duplication of effort | Optional |
Framer (Design + Development) | Use Framer for both designing and developing the website — in a single tool and workflow. | - Faster turnaround | - Requires comfort with a design+code hybrid tool (covered by my experience) | Recommended |
Why Framer (vs. Readymag) | Framer is a responsive design and development platform with real-time editing, great for building modern and scalable websites for brands. | - SEO-friendly | - Slightly steeper learning curve (handled by me) | Better Fit |
Why Not Readymag? | Readymag is excellent for storytelling, editorial, and portfolio-style content — but lacks responsiveness and interactive depth for brand websites. | - Great typography tools | - Not fully responsive | Not recommended |
Summary: I recommend we use Framer as an all-in-one design & development platform: Unlike traditional workflows where design is done in Figma and then developed separately, Framer allows both design and development to happen in one unified tool. This speeds up the process, reduces communication gaps between design and build, and allows for more fluid iterations.
